Catamagochi – Your Virtual Pet Cat Adventure

Welcome to Catamagochi, (Cat + Tamagochi, get it? That's fine... I'll see myself out) a charming Tamagotchi‑style cat care game.  Feed, water, play, and decorate your cat’s room. With a sprinkle of achievements on top.

Controls

Use the mouse to interact with the UI.

Goal of the Game

• Keep Your Cat Happy

  • Prevent food, water, or cleanliness from dropping too low or health will begin to fade.

  • If health ever reaches zero, it’s Game Over—so stay vigilant!

• Build a Daily Streak

  • Play every day to earn AP and coins. The longer your streak, the bigger your rewards.
    

• Action Points (AP)
  
  • Each interaction costs AP. Your daily AP pool resets each new day—plan your actions wisely! Strike the right balance between feeding, playing etc every day to keep on top of your pet's needs.
  
  

• Collect Coins & Decorate

  • Spend coins in the Store to unlock room backgrounds, furniture, plants, and diffrent cat skins. Mix‑and‑match to create your dream cat room!

• Achieve Milestones

  • Complete achievements—like feeding your cat 10 times, playing for 5 days straight, or reaching 100% happiness—to earn bonus coins.

With the current settings, it would take approximately two months of carefull, daily play sessions to complete the game.

Notes from the developer...

I'm a web developer by trade with some photography done on the side. While game development was always something I wanted to try, I never got the time. After staring at lines of code for 5 days a week, last thing I wanted to do is work on more code in my spare time. :)

As I'm not a graphic designer some of the graphics and sounds come from https://toffeecraft.itch.io/ & https://kenney.itch.io/. In addition some sounds and elements of the game come from my real cat.
