Micro Tower Explorer


About

This is a retro-ish, pixel-art dungeon-tower crawler built in Phaser. Make your way through different levels, collect keys to unlock your way ahead. Collect goodies from chests, and try to outsmart (or outfight) monsters.

Each floor gets tougher — how far can you explore?

🕹️ Controls

  • Arrow Keys / WASD – Move
  • Spacebar – Attack
  • E – Interact (open chests, use stairs, etc.)

⚠️ Tip: Timing your attacks is key to surviving enemy encounters!

⚠️ Tip: There is a way to "complete" the game without having to fight with a single monster.

👾 Enemy Behavior

Each enemy type has unique vision range and aggression patterns.

Enemies can see in a cone-like area in front of them. If you enter it, they will chase you, enemies pursue the player until you get out of their detection area (or they’re defeated).

Each enemy has different movement speeds and detection ranges—observe carefully!

In addition, each enemy type also has different attack strength, some might instantly kill you!


Notes from the developer...

I'm a web developer by trade with some photography done on the side. While game development was always something I wanted to try, I never got the time. After staring at lines of code for 5 days a week, last thing I wanted to do is work on more code in my spare time. :)
